Product Overview
This 12.8V 560Ah lithium iron phosphate battery delivers 7168 watt hours of stored energy in a rugged IP65 rated enclosure. Built with 4 cells in series and 2 cells in parallel (4S2P), it offers massive capacity for off grid homes, RVs, marine systems, and large solar storage. The integrated Battery Management System provides complete protection and balancing, while multiple communication options including CAN (Victron compatible), RS485, and Bluetooth allow remote monitoring.
Core Technical Specifications
Nominal voltage is 12.8V with 560Ah rated capacity and total energy of 7168Wh. Internal resistance is ≤30 milliohms. Round trip efficiency reaches 98 percent. Self discharge is less than 5 percent per month. The battery supports up to 4 units in series (to reach 51.2V) or 4 units in parallel (to reach 2240Ah). Discharge Performance
Continuous discharge current is 200 amps, suitable for powering large inverters up to 2500W to 3000W continuously. Pulse discharge current reaches 400 amps for less than one second, handling motor starting and surge loads. BMS discharge cut off voltage is 10V with reconnect at 10.8V. Short circuit protection activates within 300 to 800 microseconds for fast fault isolation.
Charge Parameters
Charging uses the CC CV method with charge voltage range of 14.2V to 14.6V. Recommended float voltage at 100 percent state of charge is 13.3V to 13.4V. Both recommended charge current and maximum charge current are 200 amps, allowing very fast charging when paired with a high power charger. BMS charge cut off voltage is set to 14.8V.
Cycle Life and Longevity
Rated for more than 5000 cycles at 100 percent depth of discharge while retaining over 80 percent of original capacity, tested at 25°C with 0.5C charge and discharge. For a system that cycles once daily, this battery lasts over 13 years before reaching 80 percent state of health. The extremely long life reduces replacement costs and environmental waste significantly compared to lead acid.
Temperature Range and Optional Heating
Discharge temperature range is -20°C to 55°C. Charge temperature is 0°C to 55°C. For applications in freezing environments, an optional heating function can be added to allow charging below 0°C. Storage temperature range is -20°C to 35°C. BMS high temperature cut off is set to 60°C.
Communication and Monitoring
The battery features three communication interfaces. CAN bus supports direct integration with Victron energy systems and other compatible inverters. RS485 allows connection to a wide range of monitoring devices and BMS master controllers. Bluetooth enables wireless monitoring via a smartphone app, showing real time voltage, current, temperature, state of charge, and fault alerts.
Scalability for Larger Systems
The battery supports maximum 4 units in series, which creates a 51.2V 560Ah bank (28.6kWh) for higher voltage systems. It also supports maximum 4 units in parallel, creating a 12.8V 2240Ah bank (28.6kWh) for extreme capacity.
