Extreme Weather E Bike Battery
The ECOLTO-T4820 is a lithium titanate battery designed for electric bikes operating in harsh cold climates. Unlike standard LiFePO4 batteries that struggle below freezing, this LTO battery charges and discharges reliably from -40°C to 60°C. It was developed specifically for the northwest region of China where winter temperatures drop extremely low. With 10000 cycles at 1C and 80% depth of discharge, it lasts far longer than conventional lithium batteries.

Core Specifications
Nominal voltage is 48V with 19.5Ah rated capacity (nominally 20Ah). Total energy is 936Wh. Internal resistance is ≤65mΩ. Efficiency reaches 99 percent. Self discharge is only 2 percent per month. The battery uses 20 cells in series and 13 cells in parallel (20S13P). Dimensions are 185mm length, 145mm width, and 310mm height. Weight is 15 kilograms. Terminal type is a 2+6 plug. Discharge Performance
Continuous discharge current is 20 amps, sufficient for standard e bike riding. Pulse discharge current reaches 60 amps for less than 10 seconds, handling hill climbing and acceleration bursts. Recommended voltage disconnect is 30V. BMS discharge cut off voltage is 30V with reconnect at 40V. Short circuit protection activates within 200 to 500 microseconds.
Charge Parameters
Charging uses the CC CV method with charge voltage range of 55V to 57V. Recommended float voltage is 55V. Recommended charge current is 10 amps for standard charging, while the maximum charge current is 20 amps for faster charging. BMS charge cut off voltage is set to 57V.
Ultra Long Cycle Life
Cycle life exceeds 10000 cycles at 1C charge/discharge and 80 percent depth of discharge while retaining over 80 percent of original capacity. For an e bike that cycles once per day, this equals over 27 years of daily use. The LTO chemistry also offers strong thermal stability, so the battery does not need frequent replacement and reduces long term operating costs.

Temperature Performance
Discharge temperature range is -40°C to 60°C. Charge temperature range is also -40°C to 60°C. This means no matter in the north or south, in winter or summer, the vehicle will not be affected by battery "shock". Storage temperature range is 10°C to 35°C. BMS high temperature cut off is set to 65°C.
Fast Charging Capability
LTO batteries support quick charging with minimal impact on cycle life. The 10A recommended charge current can fully recharge the battery in about 2 hours. With 20A maximum, charge time drops to approximately 1 hour. The strong thermal stability ensures safe fast charging even in cold conditions.
